Instead when you put the imei into the page it brings up the phone. Otherwise when you input the imei into the unlock request page it would show that. Please provide me some solution or guide me on what I am missing in this process.īut it is still true that they in fact have that imei in their system. I didn't expect such a low quality from AT&T. I have tried this unlock request submission form twice and everytime it ends up with same error message. And thirdly, how can a request that was submitted and confirmed becomes an invalid request. And secondly, when a unlock device request is submitted and confirmed, there should be an email acknowledging the same so that it can be used for future reference purpose.
#WHY IS ATT UNLOCK SERVER DOWN 2016 FULL#
First of all, you should mention while purchasing the phone online that its going to be a locked phone but not unlocked, no matter whether we pay full price or not. I am really disappointed with the way AT&T unlock process is setup. Error: An unlock request does not exist for the combination of IMEI and request number entered. After waiting for 2 days, when i searched for the status of the unlock request, it says there is no such request with that number. I didn't receive any email acknowledging me the same. I received the email asking me to confirm the request and i clicked on confirm link and the website says thanks for the confirmation and the request will now be in review status and 2 business days are needed for review. But unfortunately i have sent that phone to India (after removing the sim) and now trying to submit unlock request form. So, i assumed it would be unlocked phone as i paid full price of it.
